Cyberbullying

Cyberbullying effects alot of peoples life it forces people to break down or even commite suicide.
networks like facebook, twitter, my space etc.
have a contribution towards cyber bullying.

Amanda Todd

The suicide of Amanda Todd occurred on October 10, 2012 at her home in Canada. Prior to her death, Todd posted a video on YouTube in which she used a series of flash cards to tell of her experience of being blackmailed, bullied, and physically assaulted.

Were people add random people on facebook just to make there frinds list bigger which is such a bad idea because you can get peodophiles and stalkers all over the internet.

People spend roughly half of there everyday life on social network sites.

Some people would rather talk to people over the internet rather in person which could effect any person and get the more addicted to the site rather then enjoying a social life.

People who are addicted to sites like facebook usually add people they dont know to make there friends list look bigger when all it oes is make them look stupic. things could escalate even furhter and take it to meeting them and getting raped of killed.

Rumours are a big thing around cyberbullying and usually start half of the arguements were most of it is lies.

In my own opinion cyberbullying is bad because people will commite suicide but i think if they start getting bullyed they should leave the site completely and not go on it what so ever.

Hacking!

Over the last 20 years the technology has developed loads so thre have been more incidents then ever in these past 20 years.
Hacking started around the 1950-1960's which sent more and more company's down.

Hacking costs large companys (microsoft) around 46.8 Billion every year.

The 14-year-old from Tallaght was responsible for millions of computer users being alerted after the popular online game Modern Warfare 2 was hacked.

For example a 14 year old boy who hacked into microsoft who costed them billions have now gave him a job to try and get how he got into microsoft to make them a better company.

Gary McKinnon
Another example of what a hacker can do is with the case of Gary McKinnon a 45 year old British man who managed to hack into the pentagon
data base.

He was looking for evidence of aliens that he thought landed on earth he is autistic.

"It was a silvery, cigar-shaped object," he repeatedly said. "There were no visible seams or riveting. The object didn't look manmade or anything like what we have created."

He was born in Glasgow in 1966, but grew up in London with his mother Janis and stepfather Wilson, a UFO fan.

The real difference between me and journalists like you," he told me during our first meeting in 2003, "is that people like you are invited."

The row over phone-hacking by journalists has led to the closure of the News of the World newspaper, the establishment of the Leveson Inquiry, an MPs' inquiry and the launch of three police investigations.

More than 4,000 people have been identified by police as possible victims of phone hacking by the Now.
News of the World sign

I think hacking is bad because people doing it and sometimes do it by accident which means its to easy so the company need to put more safety around there network.

Goal Line Technology

Goal Line Technology!

Goal line technology is considered to be one of the most talked about things in football.
Due to us now having alot of range of technology nowadays FIFA have considered bringing it in and will be taking more actions on this product.
There are alot of things caused by not having goal-line technology such as dissallowed goals which change the complete picture on most games. It is abit harsh on referee's/Linesman because they get paid alot of money so they are expected to get most desitions right. There are such things that have happend like:
  • Frank Lampard v Germany (2010 South Africa World Cup)
  • Andy Carroll v Chelsea (2012 FA Cup Final)
  • Juan Mata v Tottenham (2012 FA Cup Semi-Final)
  • Frank Ribery v England (Euro 2012 Group Game)
How much is it going to cost the FA?
It cost's around 130,000 pound which isnt really a big amount for a company like FIFA so i personally think its should be brang into the beautiful game.
